One word to sum it up....BUSY...

Well....I finally found the time to update my blog.  We have been so busy the last six weeks with work, school , baseball starting, and life in general.
Gunner started baseball and his team in undefeated so far and they are doing really well hiting off the pitching machine this year. Sometimes it is a little difficult to keep them all focused but they seem to all like it.

Kallie is just into everything and everywhere.  She is definately developing her own personality and is very independant.  We have a great time watching her and laughing at her hourly.

We finally have a vacation planned in just four short week to....ORLANDO...we are so excited and cannot wait to go.  We are going with some of our really good friends The Vannaman's and we are going to have a blast.  We have so much going on the next few weeks that I will try and keep the blog updated.
Love to all!

Weekend alone with the kids and snowed in for a week

Well this past weekend Daddy left to go the Liberty bowl so it was my first weekend to stay alone with the kids.  I was a little nervous but did absolutely fine.  I went shopping with my mom, sister, and the kids Friday afternoon which is my favorite thing to do.  Then me and the kids headed home for our campout.  Kallie of coarse slept in her room but Gunner slept in the living room and I on the couch.

And here is how I found Kallie in her room.  She loves her little chair.

and the dog....

Then came the "BIG" snow on Sunday that kept us snowed in all week this week and on top of that Kallie and I both got really sick so needless to say I did not do much at all this week and I think Gunner is ready for school to start back up.  Here are a few pics of the week and as you can see Gunner loves his new race track.

Kallie loves her Kitchen and she is getting so big now

There is that smile I love so much.

So excited Daddy came home

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  STAY WARM!!!!

Love to all Anna

December Recap all in one post

Now that Christmas has come and gone I thought I would do a little recap of what a spectacular December we had this year.

My wonderful mother and best friend turned 57 this December and we had a little get together at my house with some good food and she got her beautiful christmas dishes she wanted.  Love you mom!

Then the weekend following we went to my grandparents house down south for a fun filled, wonderul weekend yet again with the crazy SMITH family.  We got there very late Friday night so Saturday we got up and had a great breakfast, then we waited patiently for everyone else to get there.  We did gifts and then had our big meal shortly after here is what everyone was doing...

We then went to see the Christmas lights at Lake Pine Bluff which has been a tradition for over 10 years now and then we did some of our crazy smith events and all of us kids were dancing in the kitchen...needless to say it was a blast.  It was then time to come home and began the maddness of the week before christmas.  Here are a few pictures of the kids that week as they were home with me and we were having fun.

Gotta love those faces

This was her favorite present this year.  Gunner gave his sister his kitchen to have in her room and she thinks it is fun to stand on the baskets.

Trying to get a good tree picture...

There is the smile I love so much.

Christmas eve we headed to Chris's moms house for dinner and gifts with his family.  We are all very fortunate to get to be together each year and the kids always have fun.

After we were done at Chris's family we headed back to our house where we had my mom, dad, sister, brother, and grandma waiting to stay the night with us.  When we got home they were playing WII again and then we made our annual doughnuts that my dad does and they are AMAZING!!!!

I was so blessed to have my grandma to come stay with us this year and experience the SMITH/BLOCK tradition we have started.  I love you so much Granny and I hope you had as much fun as we did.
THEN it was Christmas morning and I believe the kids were very blessed this year and go everything they wanted.  Can we say spoiled.....
