Summer is coming to an end....

As summer comes to an end I am reminded of all that we did or did not do this summer. It was so amazing getting to work from home with both my kids here with me. We had some good and some bad days but all in all it was a great summer. Here are a few fun things from the last month....The kids were having a great time playing in the living room and they both looked cute so I snappped a few pictures...notice Gunner is missing his TWO bottom front teeth...yea we lost both of those in the same week.

Along with Gunner losing teeth Kallie began to crawl everywhere and get into everything..that lasted about two days and then she was pulling up on stuff. Here are some great images of the happenings around here and her new found freedom...

We took Gunner to Whitewater for his special vacation with mom and dad and then his aunt and cousing joined us. We had a great time and I missed my baby girl but she got spoiled by nana and papa.

Now my favorite was this morning when I found Kallie in her bed all moved around...what can I say she is a mover in her sleep.

Busy summer times...

It has been a while since the Block Family did an update so here is what has been going on. At the end of June by baby/big boy Gunner turned 6 and we had a great time at Jump Zone. He is such a good boy, sweet, considerate, kind hearted, onry, loves loves loves his sister, and is developing his own personality and keeps us laughing for sure. Here are some cute pics from his party...

After Gunner's birthday we continued with All Stars tball for Gunner which kept us busy every night for three weeks. We had a great time and met some amazing new friends who we are looking forward to seeing in a few weeks plus ones that live right behind us...small world and the kids play great together too. I love it when things work out like that... Here are some pics from our July 4th weekend at the ballpark playing 6 games....

Our princess got her first little virus along with getting 6...yes 6 teeth at one time. She ran a fever and was fussy for about 4 days and needless to say for a baby who is wonderful all the time Momma was tired. She is doing great though almost 8 teeth now, trying to crawl, she scoots everywhere and pulls up on stuff too. Plus is just jabbering up a storm. She finally said Momma but does not say it often and also says Da for Dog...she loves puppies and is just our little angel. I cannot wait to see what she does next.

On top of all of this we are doing a little home makeover too. Chris and I love updating our house and have lots in store for this one. Here is a picture of back in September when we bought it.

And now here is what we have done...we redid the flower bed a few weeks ago but this past weekend we added a pond with water fountain and wooden shutters which I LOVE!!!!

In the middle of all this my amazing friend Kelsy took some amazing family pictures of us and here are a few of my favorites...

May Moments

Well May has come and almost gone and it was a busy one for us. Here is what has been going on in the Block family...my nephew Greyson turned 16 this month and he and Chris have been working on restoring Greyson's 1992 Ford truck...it is looking great and pics will be coming soon.

We then had Mother's day which was amazing we had a cookout at our house as always (I love doing this) and I think everyone had a great time. We then had Gunner's Kindergarten Celebration which was sooooo cute and I swore I would not cry but those of you that know me....well YEP I did.

My cousin Ashley also graduated from White Hall High School this year so we loaded up the car and went to watch. What a great weekend we had...Kallie had her first tractor ride with great papa...

I love seeing my kids experience some of the great things I did as a child. How cute is she getting!!!! I just love it.

We then came home and Chris and I celebrated 8 amazing years together. This year instead of gifts or dinner we have been working in the yard planting some new trees and updating the flower bed. I will post some pics when we are fully done.

Now what I think I love the most about May was this shot from last night at Gunner's t-ball game.

I love seeing the boys sit on the bench like they are pro baseball players. (Gunner is #51) he loves it and is trying out for All Stars this weekend. They have such a good team, coaches, and parents that we have really enjoyed his first year of ball
